Toshiba has not been much successful when it comes to an Android Google tablet but what it just launched in the excite 13, is a wonderful device which comes with 13 inch screen and a resolution of 1600*900 which is something too good to come in a tablet, no? This Toshiba Google Tablet displays websites with their full glory especially when viewed from chrome for android. Its has android version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, that is ready for a newest update later. The Google tablet has a massive screen that has the ability to make people get addicted to the latest game to hit t6he shelves, such as temple run and angry birds space (that is what users have to say).
There’s also a four-speaker sound system, which means it is a really loud tablet with great quality sound, and watching movies even without the headphones being plugged would be fun. The included stand makes it easy to prop the device up on a countertop or table, which definitely means it should be good for watching and sharing media i.e video and pictures.
This Toshiba Google tablet features a aluminum shells and scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass display. The Google Tablet gives competition to other tablets due to the heacy processor it has. It also packs a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 powered processor, which allows plenty of high-end gaming , while keeping the gamers and the rest of the market happy, as it is a “one fits all” Google tablet.
The Excite 13 is extremely light, absolutely thin, which gives it the sleek shape and mere beauty, and it also offers mini versions of the USB and HDMI ports on the original Thrive. The Excite 13 would still manage to slide into most laptop bags for those who still want to be mobile with it. Also, according to Toshiba, the battery life is good enough that the tablet will make a reasonable living room computer without the need to smash it against the wall in result of anger due to bad response from battery.
Excite 13, meanwhile, will be available at the beginning of June while it would start at $649.99 for a 32GB model.
