Rihanna is one of the next bunch of singing talent out of the US to try and make it onto the Movie seen. Her first attempt into the movie spotlight has come with the new hit Battleship that is set to be released today in Cinemas.

The Americans can be offended rather easily and the Australian reporters can often have a lack of respect when it comes to interviewing them. Especially if it composes some built up jealousy and hatred. This wasn’t the case so much today when Nat from Sunrise interviewed Rihanna, however she was told to ask about the movie only but couldn’t help herself. After asking a few questions about Battleship Nat than pushed out a question about Rihanna’s personal life which left a rather awkward moment between the pair. Not so much a silent awkward moment though as Rihanna put Nat in her place when confronted with the left field question.

In Nat’s defence Rihanna was fairly rude and “bitey” to a question that wasn’t all that disrespectful but it’s 3 interviews in as many weeks that I’ve watched myself that the Aussie reporters have targeted the yanks in an unfairly way for whatever reason it may be. Being Australian I’m constantly surrounded by negative comments about Americans so I for one am glad they are starting to bite back and not tolerate it. Many Australians are not nice and innocent like many may think and their stereotypical, political self proclaimed prowess needs to be stamped out and put back in check.
