Thanks to a very talented individual, mnomaanw a member from the XDA-Developers Forum , you are now able to get and run Windows on HTC Evo 3D. The Smartphone uses a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chip which may just prove to give superior performance then original users of the software on their PC’s received. The method also allows users to run Linux on the phone. It’s a fairly simple process to get Linux, Windows 95, 98 or XP running on the HTC Evo 3D. It involves you downloading the required software onto an SD card, make some tinny changes to files so it will work correctly then run APK (the Android Application Package). Once you’ve done this the boot up shouldn’t take more than 20 seconds… speedyJ. When your HTC Evo 3D Phone boot it will display the windows emulated desktop. Reports are saying that Windows 95 works really well, all simple functions can be easily controlled with the phones touch screen and buttons and you can use the SD card as a My Computer folder. There is even word that old EXE and DOS files will work. And for some added fun, you can play a giant sized version of Solitaire and Minesweeper on your TV using the HTC Evo 3D’s HDMI connectivity.
