iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak iPad 2 and iPhone 4S

Few days ago, @Pod2G and iPhone Devteam has released iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak for A4 devices and after a long wait they finally able to release untethered jailbreak for A5 devices. They have released the Absinthe software to untethered jailbreak iPad 2 and iPhone 4S. The tool is available for  Mac only.

To Perform this iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak iPad 2 and iPhone 4s follow the steps below:

Step 1: Download all the required files the which is available at the end of this post (just after this steps).

Step 2: Open Absinthe, click on “Jailbreak”

Step 3: Next select “Install Cydia” and then click next

Step 4: Make sure the device is Powered Off and plugged into the computer. Then click next

Step 5: Follow the on screen tutorial to entering into DFU mode.

Step 6: Hold down the power button then press home at the same time. Hold them both down for several seconds. Then release the Power button. (Keep holding home) installation will begin.

Step 7: The Jailbreak is now finished! Absinthe will take over from here. Once it’s finished the installation it will restart automatically and your device will be fully untethered jailbreak.
