Windows Phone Speech Recognition
Microsoft Speech on Windows phone is great because not only can you use it hands free but you can also do several things at once. Several things that werent possible to do without it!
Not only that but you also have voice commands preset to shorten the amount of words you have to say to get a particular task done such as:
- To call someone from you contact list, say “call contact name”
- To call any phone nuber, say “call phone number”
- To redial the last number, say “redial”
- To send a text message, say “Text contact name”
- To call you voice-mail say, ”call voice-mail”
- To Open an Application say, “open (or) start app”
- To search the web say, “find search term”
Just a view of many helpful things to learn about Windows Phone speech to help get you started and well on your way to expert mode.
Other helpful tips to know:
-If you phone is locked you can still use Windows Phone speech by going to settings then speech and select the tab that says “Use speech when the phone is locked”
-If you want to cancel any speech command its really simple (phew!) Just press the back button followed by cancel.
