Until the release of Redsn0w 2.9 Redsn0w was only available to the tethered iOS 5.0.1 Jailbreak.

To help celebrate the second anniverasy of Redsn0w ih8snow has included a huge list of brand new features also to be included in the new untethered Sn0wbreeze 2.9 Jailbreak.

-Now has support available for the old firmware
-Much needed GUI Improvements
-You can now build IPSWs with iFaith via Tiny Umbrella

-Gets rid of the  OTA Updates/badge on all iOS A5 devices.
-Added an IPSW Downloader that includes iREB functionality built into it. This is updated from newest iREB r5 module.
-Great improvements to custom packeges in expert.
-Every bit of firmware inside this update is untethered!

Unfortunately all iOS A5 devices are not yet able to be included in the Jailbreak because of the non public DFU.

Sn0wbreeze 2.9 supports the following iOS software updates: -iOS 3.1.3 -iOS 3.2.x -iOS 4.0.x -iOS 4.1 -iOS 4.2.1 – 4.2.8 -iOS 4.3 – 4.3.3 -iOS 5.0.1

ih8sn0w is working now on having these following updates ready ASAP.

iOS 4.3.4/4.3.5/4.4.x/5.0 shortly. Just like Redsn0w, Sn0wbreeze 2.9 will support the following iOS 5.0.1 devices:

• iPad 1
• iPod touch 4G, iPod touch 3G
• iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS
