Bloomberg’s report has put some rumours to rest and revealed some fascinating new iPad features that the device has been updated with. Next-Gen iPad Features To Include Retina Display, Quad Core & 4G LTE Support
Some of the key iPad features in the new model come in the form of a high definition screen and greater resolution by way of increased pixels. This increase not only puts some high definition TVs to shame but also makes images appear to be somewhat like printed material. The device will be run off a quad-core chip making it much faster than its predecessor. It will also pioneer Apple device’s as it takes its first steps into 4G/LTE wireless network. This will improve download speeds dramatically. Apple have been working on making there devices compatible with LTE (Long-Term Evolution) for some time, it is a wireless standard which has not yet been introduced to the iPhone due to its large battery requirements. Large carries are already introducing LTE networks for faster data access including ATT Inc. and Verizon Wireless.
Apple first released the iPad back in April of 2010, it was the first of its kind and has defiantly had some loyal devotees as see when they released iPad 2 in March of 2011. However when Kindle Fire was released by Amazon last year for the incredibly low price of $200, it seemed the Apple created and dominated tablet market was being taken over. But as the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and Kindle Fire was no exception with its less than impressive performance .Regardless of its domination in the market place, Apple CEO Tim Cook is egger to launch the new iPad to squash rival advances. Although with more than 40 million iPads sold since April 2010, we can’t see that he has anything to worry about.
Pegatron, one of Apples manufacturing partners, is already in full swing in China and should be well stock piled by February.
If news breaks of any further iPad features will we include them in an update.
