NBC has announced that for the first time ever it would be live streaming the Superbowl XLVI on NFL.com and nbcsports.com. The network then followed by announcing it would also be live streaming through Verizon’s NFL Mobile application.

The live streaming will be really special too! If you were thinking of only using it in an emergency situation you may want to rethink your plans. The network’s live streaming will be in full HD and also offering extras you wont find on your Tv station like additional camera angles to choose from while your watching the game.

“Whether it’s just for a quarter if somebody has to run out to the store to get something they forgot, now they can stay connected to the game,” Hans Schroeder, the NFL’s senior vice president of media strategy and development, told The Associated Press. “With such a big television audience, it will be interesting to see the expanded reach.”

In addition to the Superbowl the Network announced it would also be hosting the Pro Bowl live from Hawaii on January 29 for all of it’s viewers.
