Android 3.1 upgrade for Logitech Review begins roll out this week
For those of you who own Logitech Revue powered by Google TV, the wait is finally over for the software update of the Android 3.1. A small yet incredibly lucky few have already had a taste of the delicious new update called Honeycomb. The software will be updated will be rolled THIS WEEK, and all you need to do to ensure you are part of it is make sure the Revue unit is switched on and connected to the Web. A pop up will appear on your TV screen in regards to the update, simple accept and it will start downloading. This update will be automatic for new customers upon activation.

The latest software comes a month later then Sony’s Google TV boxes, but may well be worth the wait. Key new features include a new user interface which is more user friendly and simpler to use, a wider variety of entertainment choices including admission to the Android Market, improvements to Logitech Media Player and browse capabilities which are faster and much more comprehensive. It will also have Google Music integration and brand new Photo and YouTube apps.
