Siri Easter Eggs – Smart and Funny :To tell the truth, I’ve never been an iPhone fan and I never understood why everybody wanted to buy an iPhone that badly – there were so many good phones created by other manufacturers, after all… But a couple of days ago, when I was looking for some info about Easter Eggs hidden in one of my favorite PC games, I stumbled upon Easter Eggs in the iPhone 4S’s Siri!

I was really surprised to find out that Siri (in case you didn’t know – Siri’s a user assistance program designed especially for the iPhone 4S; it can answer questions and does some tasks for you) gives really smart and funny responses to some strange and unlikely questions. And since I’m a big fan of Easter Eggs and smart programs/games, I felt changed my opinion about the new iPhone 4S thanks to the sense of humor its software developers had.

For example, if you try to ask Siri what’s the meaning of life, you can get many different responses (including quotes from biology books, of course, which can be very useful for students, for example) with “42” among them. Or if you ask Siri to find a place to hide a body, you’ll get a list of reservoirs, metal foundries, mines, damps and swamps that can be found nearby (I guess this Easter Egg takes us to “Dragon Age: Origins” with one of its “body hiding” quests). You can even try to ask Siri to “open the pod bay doors” – she won’t be confused.

Besides, if you feel lonely or sad, you can ask Siri to tell you a joke. There are many different responses to this request, and they’re all very funny, so try them, and you won’t regret

So I guess Siri with all its funny jokes is what makes the iPhone 4S so special and rather competitive. I’m not sure the intelligent Siri will convince me and other people like me buy Apple’s new phone, but at least even I should admit it – Siri is funny.
