Please consider the following before getting started:

The jailbreak does not work for the iPad 2 nor the brand new iPhone 4S.
This is a tethered jailbreak, which means you want to reboot your iDevice, it will be necessary to connect it to a PC or Mac running Redsn0w to “jump-start” it.
Last but not least, please consider when the untethered jailbreak appears, you will have to restart a fresh installation– you will not be able to just ‘upgrade’ your jailbreak as it was.

Step 1: Please Download the latest version of iTunes (10.5) this is necessary for Windows or Mac.
